Other Compensation Information

• Employees who complete their work on a late shift between midnight and 3:00 am will receive $.75 more per hour through the night differential payment. Nonetheless, this isn't applicable to those who start at 3:00 am or complete their work for the day at midnight.
• Weekend Hourly Bonus: For each hour worked between 12:00 a.m. on Saturday and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, associates will be compensated with an extra $2.00 per hour as a weekend hourly bonus.

Year End Bonus

Publix recognizes the hard work of its staff by providing a Holiday Bonus to them each November.

The company is offering a bonus to new associates who join the team before July 1, with the bonus equating to 8 hours of pay.

The company's policy is that associates who are hired after July 1 will not receive a bonus in their first year. After the first year, associates who remain employed until the bonus check is issued may be eligible for a bonus equivalent to 8 hours of pay.

Required Qualifications

• be at least 18 years old
• be able to work nights
• be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
• be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
• be able to bend, stoop, and twist
• be able to stand for long periods of time
• be able to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of his or her body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)
