Other Compensation Information

• Additional Compensation for Late Night Shifts.
• Weekend Bonus: Associates are eligible for a weekend bonus of $2.00 per hour for all hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday and 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

Year End Bonus

Publix acknowledges the important role played by its associates by giving out the Holiday Bonus every November.

If a new associate joins Publix before July 1, they will be entitled to a bonus equal to 8 hours of pay for the position.

Associates who are hired after July 1 will not receive a bonus during their first year. However, they may be eligible for a bonus in the following years if they remain employed until the bonus check is issued. The amount of the bonus will be the equivalent of 8 hours' pay.

Required Qualifications

• be at least 18 years old
• be able to work nights
• be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
• be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
• be able to bend, stoop, and twist
• be able to stand for long periods of time
• be able to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of his or her body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)

• Basic Office Skills and
• Matching - Alphanumeric
• be able to read, write, and solve math problems
• be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
