WHAT YOULL DO

As a Restaurant Cook, you understand that the dishes that we serve embody our essence. By following Cracker Barrel's recipes and kitchen practices, your primary role is to prepare our extensive menu of home-cooked classic dishes, from pancakes (for the Grill Cook) to salads and desserts (for the Prep Cook) to famously buttermilk biscuits (for the Backup Cook). Our ultimate aim is to satisfy our guests, and we seek enthusiastic individuals who share our passion for quality food and service

Practice Hospitality in Action:

• Familiarize yourself with our time-honored, periodic, and contemporary food options.
• Maintain the company's superior reputation by ensuring the adherence to our standards of quality, safety, cleanliness, and hospitality that our guests rightfully expect.
• Establish a strong bond with the kitchen crew, colleagues, and leaders for successful collaboration and performance.

WHAT YOULL NEED

• Fulfillment of a PAR 3 position for at least 120 consecutive days
• Completed the PAR 4 training program focusing on culture, leadership, and mentorship at CBU
• Secured a mark of 80% or above on the PAR 4 Prep test
