Other Compensation Information

• Finishing the Day Late - But With More Cash.
• Weekend Pay Increment: An additional $2.00 per hour is paid to associates who work during the weekends between 12:00 a.m. Saturday and 11:59 p.m. Sunday as a weekend pay increment.

Year End Bonus

Publix acknowledges the commitment of its associates by granting them a Holiday Bonus every November.

In case a new associate is hired by Publix before July 1, they will receive a bonus of 8 hours' worth of pay.

Associates who are hired after July 1 will not receive a bonus in their first year of employment. For subsequent years, a bonus equivalent to 8 hours of pay may be awarded to those who are still employed when the bonus check is issued.

Required Qualifications

• be at least 18 years old
• be able to work nights
• be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
• be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
• be able to bend, stoop, and twist
• be able to stand for long periods of time
• be able to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of his or her body exposed outside of the operator compartment
• successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)

• be able to read, write, and solve math problems
• be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions
